UPDATE: The iTunes art grabber doesn't work now. Apple has blocked the full-sized artwork for 99% of the store. (only thumbnails are still availible) Feel free to search the other sources though.

Instead of searching the iTunes store, which excludes: various artists compilations, TV shows, movies, and is fairly picky about typos, you can locate the album/show/movie/whatever you like inside the iTunes store and then use this method to get the cover art. To do so, simply right click on the small cover art inside of iTunes within the store, and click "Copy iTunes Store URL". Paste that URL in the above box and you're good to go!
quick instructions
(EDIT: For this method, see above) It's really simple... just type in both the artist and album you want, hit find, and you're off! (if you don't get any results, chose a different content provider on the left side of the page.) This script will query the iTunes store (or whichever other site) and search for the album you specified then give a thumbnail and link to a full sized version of the art. You can then use the image with any media player that supports coverart, that is, even though the image may come from the iTunes servers you do NOT have to use the iTunes program. Now you have no excuse for your media collection not to be dressed up :)
